My 4.2 was a bit of a smoke after a hot splash on the Krummer.Think it was gear oil.According to the measuring rod something about Max.The upper ball on the measuring rod has been a bit damp.Can this be related to it ?

meiner Erfahrung nach (weil schon gedichtet, dann gewechselt weil sinnlos) ist da eher der Hydraulikölkreislauf undicht (Servokreislauf, Servopumpe - Lenkgetriebe ??). War bei mir das gleiche, hab ich ihn getreten, hatte ich dann die Fontäne. Schau mal, ob die Pumpe auch wirklich dicht ist (greifen). Auch unterhalb des Ausgleichsbehälters die Schläuche überprüfen.
Bei mir war's das.
