after having my A8 on stage last week, we noticed that my A8 has an oil leak where.
After first sight, I thought already, NO !!!; not also the riser line in this Audi leaks !!
I had that with my V8 two years ago ...
With more detailed cause research, but then from the engine compartment, one could see that the two rear, sitting in front of the spray wall, ventilating hoses swelled, as chewing gum have become and were thus also torn.
This then ran the oil over the gearbox to the ground.
Have then all 3 hoses, also the long front at
(ET: 077 103 221 D ,E,K ) and also get one day later. All 3 hoses cost each , hold ! 39,93 EUR the piece ! They are made only of rubber, not of gold!

In 2001, for example, cost the still about 20 EUR !
Especially since the front is twice as long as the other two together; only differently bent.
And then the fun when swapping, because you get very modestly, without disassembly the suction bridge. Then they are still fixed with cable clamps!
Lower pressure can for cruise control and throttle sockets should be dismantled, then it is reasonably possible.
Anyway, we had fun.

These hoses don't seem to last forever, I had already exchanged with my V8 at that time, as they were also like chewing gum and they seem to be e.g. in sliding mode.
However, the V8 makes it easier to reach the A8.
Nevertheless, must such a better garden hose I say once salopp, be so expensive? I used to do that to the Audi--
Customer service emailed, let's see if I get an answer.
Can you look at your V8`s how they look like?
