Hello

Unfortunately, I am also affected by the knocking noise. It was also a nice dealer. He said leave a car you're gonna start trading. My answer to that was exchange I can exchange alone.

My transmission was overhauled a 1.5 year ago. So first to the master because my suspected was the gears were mutt.

After an hour in the workshop (oil level checked ) he said with the gearbox everything is in Ordnug knocking is caused by the belt drive. He had the same car recently and that was the case. Unfortunately, he didn't want to tell me which repair he went through. So off to the workshop for buddy Audi on stage and strap. And behold, the knocking was gone. Pull the belt again. Then the fun started. Lima, servo, flange threshold, belt tensioner, pulley roll all made new straps on it and knocking is already there again. I don't know if it makes any sense to change the air conditioning pump. It's a driving stage whether R D 4 3 or 2 and consumers (climate etc.) are not knocking out. As soon as the belt has to work, it starts knocking. Now I wanted to hit with the hammer, then the idea came to me the belt tensioner b.z.w belt with running motor to give me a little more tension than the tensioner does. And knocking stops with minimal tension directly.

So I'm in the end with my Latin if one of you still has an idea that would be great

Hi,
