Tip to change timing belt

Hi, people
Since I have already read a lot about timing belt changes (questions and answers), I put my experiences here for the best.
Laity who have never done anything like this should rather ask for help or find someone who has done it on a V8, so that later on when the best piece is started nothing goes into their pants! (then it's expensive)
First you should get before the start of the work, get all the necessary parts what is needed for it and not buy everything together gradually.(also reference guide!)
The medium screw (27er) of the flywheel wheel is tightened with 560Nm and must also be tightened so firmly again! Most torque wrenchs have so no tightening force, therefore one should borrow a part like this.
When installing the new timing belt, the camshaft wheels (on both sides) must be detached so that you can put the straps on it!Then tension the timing belt! Not later!!
If this is all done, check if the OT point is still right and the camshaft fixers fit.
Then pull the camshaft wheels a little tight (the timing belt is tensioned!) with the 17 key, not full, otherwise the camshafts or fixers will break!
Once this is done, camshaft fixers out, spark plugs out, and spin the engine several times by hand and try not to jam anything, and try again if the fixers fit in without jamming.
If not, put the disc on OT, release camshaft wheels again(dental belts remain tense) and start from the front! Take your time, your engine thanks for it.
Also check whether the numbers of camshafts on both sides (right and left bank) match.
Fits then everything you have made it and you can pull the camshaft wheels "without fixirers" with 25Nm firmly.
Then turn the engine by hand again for safety, if it turns easily!, then you can build everything together again.
Finally, something for everyone: I gave my experience of changing the timing belt for the best and no other!
In the upper part I did not describe the full change, but only the most important one from my experience, so that there are no misunderstandings.
Despite everything, I hope everyone knows what a V8 he has and still has a long time of pleasure in him, despite expensive spare parts.
Greeting from the Hunsrück
