Whats the top speed of Audi V8 4,2 Quattro 6-speed? Is it electronically regulated??

Easy to calculate, depends on engine revs, divide engine revs by gearings you get wheel revs, multiply with dynamic circumference ( which is less than static caused by tyre deflection ), integrate with time and you´ll get the ground speed.
for instance the 4.2 automatic does roughly 260k at 6000rpm. whatever the speedindicator shows, the revcounter is much more accurate, so you can trust it. just check what it shows when you hit the rev limit which is at 6750rpm.
P.S. there is no speed restrictor in the ECU, Audi decided to declare top speed at 249k to prevent taking part of the 250k regulations. due to that a good engine does more than 250k, some of them are touching the rev limiter at 6750rpm in high gear flat out.
