hello to all who see my post.for those who can assist me, im having a problem with my gear box. some days i start the car and all of the P R N D 3 2 1 display is lit as if they are all in gear. when i pull off it drives like its not in gear. On other days it displays N D 3 2 1 or R N D 3 2 1 or P R N D 3 1
i also have to shift into 3rd and then drive for the car to be in the right gear always. also take in mind that i only have these problems when the car is started for the first time each day.
i would be greatfull for the support.

This is the "limp home mode" where the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) detects a problem, lights up all of the gear lights on the dash, and put the transmission in 3rd gear all of the time. You can use a jumper wire to 'blink' the trouble codes out of the computer; count the blinks, look at a chart, and you will know what the TCU thinks the problem is.
