I have a problem with my steering.
My V8 is built in May 92 with Servotronic steering (hopefully this is written correctly )
When it's cold outside, the steering is totally jammed! To the right I can hit the steering wheel, but then I can't get it turned back to the left. Only when the engine has run for a while can it be done at once. In the summer this nonsense has not occurred once, only when it gets cold.
If the Audi is out in the cold all day, it takes minutes for me to finally leave.
When I finally get on the road, there are no more steering problems.
What can that be?
Is there a completely new steering gear due ?
I hope not.
It seems to me that the oil in the cold is too thick and when it is a little warm, the whole thing is flooding.
I hope you can give me some advice.
