Das Motorsteuergerät sitzt im Motorraum rechts Nähe Scheibenwischer. Verkleidung abschrauben, dann werden die Verschraubungen des Gehäuses fürs Steuergerät zugänglich. Die hinterste Schraube ist durch des Gitter unterm Scheibenwischer erreichbar, dazu einen kleinen Verschluß im Gitter ausclipsen. Im Gehäuse sitzt auch das Getriebesteuergerät. Die Schrauben sind mit Dichtmasse eingedreht, diese beim Einbau erneuern. Vom Peilstab hab ich keine Ahnung.

Ich glaub, dass es beim A8 nicht mehr vorgesehen ist, mit Peilstab zu messen. Ich war damals beim Händler zum Ölstand messen.

Nachteil an der ganzen Prozedur: Der Ölstand wird im kalten Zustand gemessen (A8 !). Das is nix mit einfach mal vorbeifahren. Meiner musste gute 5 Stunden stehen.
