short question to those who have done this before....: Since my baby has an ignition dropout from time to time and runs very squarely, I wanted to check the ignition cables and distributors first. Is there anything special to consider, or is it enough to loosen the two small hexagon screws to remove the caps without any problems ? Can the runners be easily exchanged if worn out, there are different experiences...? It is clear that the lufibox and the dome struts have to be removed, but can you get the caps down without any problems after loosening the two screws? Motor is a 93 ABH 4.2 in 100 C4V8, km stand 150Tkm, candles are new, but have not fixed the problem.
As always, I am extremely grateful for relevant information and brief reports.

Soweit ich weiß sind die Verteilerfinger geklebt--lassen sich aber mit einem Schraubenzieher runterbrechen.Ersatz für die gibts aber nur im Zubehör,da Audi nur die kompletten Verteiler verkaufen will.Die mußt Du dann mit einer kleinen Schraube sichern.
Die Kappen einfach abschrauben und abziehen--das ist kein Problem.
Und sonst wie Du schon sagtest-Lufikasten raus und dann einfach abschrauben---aber vertausche nicht die Reihenfolge der Kabel beim Umstecken
