Ask the experts. Gas pump from the 20V in V8?

Hello, everybody.
I would be interested if I can use the gasoline pump from the Audi 200 20V in the Audi V8 or if the pumps are so different from the pressure that I can't take them? Is the pressure control valve in the V8 designed for a possibly higher pressure of the 200 pump? or must a V8 pump be used?
