Bose Soundsystem + "Fremradio"

Hello everybody,

Some time ago there was a discussion here about an adapter from a "foreign radio" (Alpine, Becker, Sony etc.) on the connection of the Bose Aktiv system in the V8.
At that time an ISO adapter was recommended, which goes from the LS-ISO output on the radio to the ISO connection on the V8.
This can only be seen as a mere emergency solution and only for radios, without pre-out.
For radios with pre-out, such an adapter is complete nonsense!
Since the already amplified output signal is transformed to a low-voltage signal, the external voltage distances are massively down at the same time.

There are from the Fa for this. Dietz several special adapters:

Art.# 17024 Mini-ISO to 10-pin-ISOActive (Bose), e.g. for all Becker and Blaupunkt devices whose pre-outs are executed as Mini-ISO.

art.#17021 Cinch on 10-pin ISOActive (Bose), for all Japanese radios with Cinch output.

Believe me, you save yourself a lot of trouble and at the same time have a much better sound!
In addition, the adapters cost just € 12 - 15,- (and not three times how the above mentioned "Active Adapters" are traded in the Ebay)!

I write this because yesterday a buddy (also V8) annoyed me with it and there is still need for clarification.

Hallo zusammen,
