I'm from the United States, and my German is not very good.
I'm looking for the center console with Navi plus that uses the switches and the climate control from the 96-99.
I have the 00 center console and switches and climate control, but the K line and CAN bus are incompatible.
The part I'm looking for is 4d1 820 325

Hallo,
natürlich gab es die Blende mit Navi-Plus mit den Schaltern vom Modell ´94 - ´98 !
Es wurde von Modelljahr 1998 Fg W_4001 bis Facelift verbaut.
Man braucht beim Navi-Einbau dann die Schalter und die Anschlüsse der Klimaanlage nicht ändern.
Es muss aber das Klimasteuergerät leider getauscht werden, da das Klimasteuergerät dann tiefer ist. Dafür hat man dann aber die autom. Umluftschaltung.
Beim Einbau muss zudem noch eine Strebe aus den Armaturenbrett umgearbeitet werden.
Mittelkonsole habe ich leider keine mehr. Aber die Holzverkleidung und die Klimasteuerung für das Navi ist noch vorhanden.

... ich habe nicht gemeint, dass es das Navi Plus erst mit dem Facelift in 11/98 gab.
Bis zum Facelift gab es das Navi Plus noch in der Mittelkonsole mit den senkrechten Schaltern der ersten Baujahre. Ab dem Facelift kamen dann die flachen, waagerechten Schalter zum Einsatz!
Die ganzen technischen Details hast Du ja schon beschrieben! Da müsste ich eh passen ...

just a quick translation of what was kindly written by Tony and Kai, mostly to avoid you being frightened of the task. According to Tony, the old swithces and connectors of the ac can be used sa the Navi+ system was available pre-facelift from early 1998. However, you would need a new ac contorller unit, because it is set lower than on the "normal" console, gaining the useful(?) addition of automatic air circulation. When making the conversion, one bar of the dashboard, presumably behind the center console, needs to be repositioned, and it seems that the actual center console is a different part you would need to get hold of.
It also appears that Tony has some of the parts in stock, namely the

Thank you for the translation. Actually, i already converted all of the equipment to the 00 post facelift. Navi plus which has the new a/c controls and new 00 wood dash and switches. It all fit perfectly. My only problem is that the a/c controls use the CAN bus not the K line. So i have lost automatic control of my A/c compressor and the outside temp display. I figure if i can get the pre facelift navi dash i can keep my old switches and old a/c unit because i believe all i need is a new back part to hold the a/c unit inplace.
The two parts i am searching for is the Wood face to the prefacelift navi plus and the assembly that holds the wood face in.
I would be very interested in purchasing these parts.

Es passen alle vollkommen. Mein einziges Problem ist, daß das ein/c Steuerungen den DOSE Bus nicht die K Linie benutzen. So habe ich automatische Steuerung von meinem Einem verloren/c Kompressor und die äußere Zeitarbeiterausstellung. Ich rechne, wenn ich das vorfacelifting navi erhalten kann, zerschmettert ich kann behalten meine alten Schalter und alt ein/c Einheit, weil ich, daß alle glaube, die ich Bedürfnis ein neuer hinterer Teil ist, das ein zu halten/c Einheit inplace.
Die zwei Teile, die ich suche, ist das Holz Gesicht zum prefacelift navi plus und die Versammlung, die das Holzgesicht in hält.
Ich interessieren sich sehr für Kaufen dieser Teile.
