I started installing the GAT conversion kit today.
However, we have some problems and I urgently need your help so that I can build everything together again tomorrow (3,6)!
I have the following questions:
1. According to installation instructions (step 4.5), the black cable (that with the red squeeze connection / through connector at the end) must be connected below the left distributor cap to the standard plug connection. My problem: There are three connectors here; seen from the left fender: on the right a plug with a black cable, in the middle a plug with two white cables and on the left a plug with a thick black cable. To which of these plugs must the black cable of the GAT system be attached?
2. Where is the small plastic housing fixed with the fuse? On the back of this case there are devices with which you can place the part somewhere on it. But where?!
3. The red storm supply cable of the GAT system is acc. Installation instructions (step 4.2) "connected to the rear ignition coil, cable black terminal 15" (O-tone). My Probelm: Black/white cables are on the ignition coil, but not a completely black cable!
I hope that anyone can give me an answer today, as my car must be finished tomorrow!!!!!!
Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hallo Henry,
ist zwar erst 2 Wochen her, daß ich den Satz bei mir verbaut hab, aber alle Unterlagen liegen in meiner Halle und so ausm Kopf
Zur ersten frage:
Das ist wohl das Kabel, das zur Lambda-Sonde geht. Das rote Teil am Ende ist steckbar. Das End-Teil wird auf die schwarze Ader der Lambda geklemmt und das Kabel das zum GAT Steuergerät geht, auf diesen "Leitungsabgreifer" aufgesteckt.
Zu 2
Das Gehäuse mit der Sicherung ist ein normaler Standart-Sicherungshalter. Ich habe auf der Rückseite so ein Klebe-Pad angebracht und an der Spritzwand angeklebt.
zu 3
siehe Stromlaufplan oder mit Vielfachmeßgerät. (Klemme 15 hat bei eingeschalteter Zündung Spannung)
und noch was:
Keine Panik, Dein Achter läuft auch mit "teileingebautem"GAT-Satz, wenn die Unterdruckleitungen dicht sind
