As you probably remember, I have recently reported that my eighth is always getting so hot. I also followed all the advice you gave me, but it did not bring anything. I brought my eighth to the Audi workshop on Monday to solve the problem. Last night, the workshop master called me and asked me to come by myself. I went there immediately and the master then explained to me and showed why the cooling water has always become so hot. The cylinder head gasket from the right cylinder bench has cut it through and as if that wasn't enough it gets worse. The master has removed and measured the cylinder head and has also determined that the cylinder head is warped and can no longer be installed. He also said it wouldn't help to have this cylinder head plan grinded, because that would increase the pressure on the pleul bearings and it could then be that they will break me. The master then also told me that the second cylinder head must also be measured down and also measured. After my question at Audi yesterday, what would a new cylinder head cost? 1200,00 € without work cost. Yesterday I took my eighth with a trailer again and now it is with me with almost disassembled engine. Yesterday, I had to pay € 391.50 for my work at Audi (disassembly of the engine) and now you can imagine for yourself what it would have cost me if I had my eighth at Audi judged. Madness
Greetings Andre
