Hello dear A8/V8 community,

I'm getting more and more involved in thinking about getting an A8. I know about the advantages of an Audi. But also know the disadvantages... Spare parts prices where you search for the gold dust in the part in vain!! That's how my knowledge never buys anything extravagant. At the moment I drive a very nice 100 he Bj. 90. However, he has 420 TKM on the rings. That was the cheapest car ever. So now I do not want to add to you here, but to ask for a small opinion on my purchase request:
I wanted to get an A8 with 128 kW engine, so built in 1996 with manual transmission and AHK. Why do you ask yourself such a "lame cucumber"? Well, I don't need to saw a Porsche. Furthermore, I don't want to help Trittin to make unexpected money blessings. The insurance prices aren't that heavy either, and last but not least, I don't want to pull a high-voltage fence around my property so that this thing doesn't get stolen the first week.
Is it useful to choose such a model considering lifespan and spare parts prices (fits motor from 100 o.A6?). Are there simpler insulation materials installed and. ==References==

Thank you in advance
Dirk
