Today I got my A8 back from the annual inspection. Although I am sure that before the ignition, everything, i.e. speedometer tank indicator water temperature speed indicator on the center console control switch etc., was lit, now only the display, the clock and the daily kilometer counter worked. Everything is illuminated with "light on". The switches for window lifters are always illuminated. The AUDI man explained to me that 96, (my own part) this backlight went on in the series when ignition. Mine must therefore be one of the last ones, in which this was not the case, but he wants to make up his mind again. Is that really so, or does one of you have a 95 with this backlight?
