Here's the latest state of my attempts to unravel my temperature reading...
I hung the sensor in boiling water and see, the thermometer then shows about 98° !
Of course, it was quite terrified, because that meant at first glance that the thermometer even followed.
Then the same thing with attached ohmmeter, and boiling water were about 70 ohms as it should be.
Then cable from the sensor placed in the car and made with ohmmeter test drive.
Result, about 120 ohms when driving, after long running in the stand as the lowest value 101 ohms measured. Roughly calculated, 120 ohms correspond to about 87° , and 101 ohms to about 92° .
Same aria with another identical sensor, identical result.
Conclusion : Sensoryly fine, engine is not too hot and I don't think there is anything left for me to examine the instrument cluster for cold soldering points or other errors.
