Surely others also know the problem here, the previous owner has always nicely distributed engine protection wax in the engine room and now you have the dear need to get the stuff down. It sits everywhere and is so burned that it goes through nothing. I tried everything already, brake cleaner, dilution, rim cleaner, etc. Nothing helps.

Out! And that should look nice.Who's got one or more tips on how to get this damn thing back? The way it looks, it only helps to grind with 240er sandpaper!*g* But I don't want to repaint the engine compartment.
