Hi!

After a long time, but what would be a long time will finally be good, my new engine is ready. They installed it on Sunday (with the help of Daniel from Dresden and the screw-wright Enno, thankee ). And I must say, a dream! It's got a new engine. Totally smooth and quiet, until you give bits of gas, then you can literally feel it and you can also hear that he can breathe properly with all the worked things.
The most difficult thing about the whole story is that it has to be brought in. Sometimes it's tempting to go through the gas to see what he can do, but no!! Pure self - control! But what you can feel is a difference!
The most ingenious was yesterday to leave the first one on! All built in and then key around, bite org, maybe like 6-8 seconds, then he jumped on! First key turn! Crazy!
But even when starting, it sounds different like a normal 3.6, rather like a 5.7 small block!*g*
I hope that the first few thousand km will pass quickly and he can finally show what's inside him!

PS.: In the appendix a photo after completion still in the workshop.

HI!

Hi!

Also, sämtliche Dichtungen neu, sämtliche Lager (Pleuel usw)neu, zahnriemen, Wapu, Rollen, Dämpfer, Ölpumpenlager, Kolbenringe neu, Ventile und Ventilsitze neu gefräßt, 2 Sitze erneuert, Köpfe komplett bearbeitet, d.h. Kanäle, Ansaugtrakt vom 4,2er, Drosselklappenteil vom 4,2er, Nockenwellen vom 4,2er, Krümmer bearbeitet, Ansaugtrakt bearbeitet, Kolben erleichtert (ca. 6 Gramm pro Kolben), Pleule erleichtert (ca. 85 Gramm pro Pleuel), Ventile erleichtert (ca. 1,5mm abgedreht).

Mit allem neu was ging.

Ronny
