Hello, everybody.

Because I got wet feet with my A8 after using the air conditioning in right curves (or. my passenger in left curves), I went on the search for causes.
Similar to others here in the forum, I also had water in the air ducts, which even sprayed out when the engine was fully turned on.
After you have removed the cover on the middle tunnel on the driver's side (wall next to the accelerator pedal) you see an orange rubber part (approx. 10cm long profile rubber tube, crumbled, ends in a kind of plate, about 6cm diameter). Pull this part out, it was clogged up with me. Blow through, reinstall. That's it. No more splashing in the air ducts, no more wet feet.

Greetings, Matthias
