Five months ago, I did a V8 after I sent my 5s to the eternal car grounds in a wild accident.
I bought the 88`er V8 for about 1800 euro, had minor defects (2 defective window lifter, tiny bump (about 2 fingers big)). But it was fine. (I kept to the "buy recommendation" from the page, so a good one was taken)
2 weeks later I lost servo oil (150 euros for 2 new slumps), after the repereature it went well again...
About two months ago, I started with the "Impulse Acceleration", and then I had Audi tested. After they kicked the computer and pulled out the books, they found in the bugstore that the "hot air sensor" (or something like that) was defective... Have looked, and the work of a "hobbybastler" ends up... Okay, two new cables on it = 80 euros... It's wonderful again.
Now the exhaust has given up... (After falling off at 220 km/h on the highway against the direction of travel
)I let him weld on it again, but this is all very "undead" now, sounds great, but should be done...
I asked Audi, where the fun costs about 1100 euro, plus control and installation (before and end-shaft dampers ... or something, I don't know
)Beu ATU is supposed to be the whole about 1100 Euro incl. However, it does not know if the original parts are used.
Now I wanted to ask - because I have noticed that many people here are aware - whether someone still has a relatively well-preserved exhaust, and can possibly also (more or less) install it at a reasonable cost. Because I myself, except for the usual, don't have any kind of cars.
Would really like an answer!!
Greetings
Christian
PS: Is it normal that EVERY mechanic asks: "V8? You mean A8, right?" and then you don't get the hood?
