I have an empty battery all the time. I then checked the resting current and measured enormous 270 mA. So piece by piece the fuses pulled and see there ... Security 28 (15A) is the culprit ! Safety 28 includes selector lever lock, brake light and the combiistrument. I ́If I plug in the fuse, a relay indicates in the instrument cluster and then I have the resting current of 270 mA .If you remove the fuse, then I have wonderful 30 mA !? The relay sits on a small board behind the speedometer and is protected by a lid secured with 3 screws. Furthermore, many diodes and a control pot sit on it.
I have the original circuit diagram but it does not help me with the instrument cluster !This relay is not listed anywhere .?
I also pulled off the plug-in contact of brake light switch and the same symptom .... ?
Question 1: What function does this board (Relais) and how?
2: Where is the error ?

Hi Frank,

! FREUFREUFREUFREU :-)
