Audi V8 of THW Local Association Ingolstadt

many will probably know this 1:87 model of the manufacturer Rietze.



But did you also know that there was in reality the THW Ortsverband Ingolstadt?
The existence of this car has so far apparently remained hidden almost from the entire Audi V8 community. Even longtime connoisseurs of the V8 scene were completely unknown to the car.
All the more pleased that I can now show you the obviously only existing images of this special V8, which were kindly made available to me by THW OV IN and whose publication I was allowed to publish.
According to the research carried out so far, the car was a pre-production vehicle, which was made available to THW OV IN in March 1994 by Audi, and which returned to Audi after its retirement.
Unfortunately, no further information about the car is known so far, since neither at the THW OV IN nor at the delivery point at Audi e.g. the FIN has been held up. Thus, the statement about the vehicle status as a pre-production vehicle can unfortunately not be verified. However, evidence such as the fact that the vehicle returned to Audi after being out of service, or the fact that the maintenance services were to be carried out directly at the IN plant, suggests that there might be something about this statement.
