after I had to remove large parts of the interior for drying due to water intrusion, I found a small rubber wedge that I cannot assign. Any of you know where that belongs?
==References== 11x7 mm, see photos. There's traces of glue on one side. It belongs somewhere in the center console area (ash cups, storage compartments) or the middle area of the instrument panel (radio, navigation and climate control). I've already looked at all the parts in the area, but I can't find a suitable place.
Hallo Gunter, gleiches Phänomen hatte ich auch. Sieht aus wie ein Distanzkeil, der von einer Frontscheibenmontage übrig geblieben ist. Die Dinger werden nach der Montage nicht entfernt und fallen dann irgendwohin.
Ich hab noch nie eine Scheibe eingebaut und weiß daher nicht wie man die Teile anwendet und konnte es auch nicht rausfinden. Eine Werkstatt, die Scheiben wechselt kann sicher sagen wie es kommt, dass die Teile irgendwo rumliegen.....Solche selbstklebenden Distanzkeile zur Scheibenmontage gibt es zu kaufen. Hab ein ebay Angebot zum Vergleich gefunden. Die sehen so ähnlich aus wie das Teil, das du fotografiert hast:
