Hallo Gemeinde. Mein Name ist Matthias und ich bin seit gut 3 Wochen Besitzer eines A8 4.2 Quattro aus dem Jahr 1995. Das Auto ist nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht top,als reines Hobbyfahrzeug soll der A8 im Laufe der nächsten Monate wieder hübsch gemacht werden. Hello, parish.
My name is Matthias and I have been the owner of an A8 4.2 Quattro from 1995 for a good 3 weeks. The car is not bad, but also not top, as a pure hobby vehicle the A8 should be made beautiful again over the next few months.

At the top of my to-do list is the search for a secret power generator that regularly sucks the battery.
I haven't done a rest current measurement yet, but I'm on short notice. Maybe someone can give me a hint :-)

As the first attempt I pulled the safety of the theft alarm system (sicherungsträger 5,braum,Sicherung 5).
I then locked the vehicle and it came the receipt tone for the locking. The rear door on the driver's side was still open at this time, the car was to ventilate. I put a bigger rag over the door and leaned on it.
At that moment, the A8 began to honk.

Probably I triggered the interior surveillance with the flap when closing the door.
My question now is why the alarm system is active despite the security. What can I do to make the entire anti-theft system streamless for test purposes?
