Hello, everybody.

I cut off my roof sky today. If someone needs help to get the annoying sticky stuff off well and dry, here are some pictures of how I did this.

So that my saddler can equip it well with alcantara the roof sky as well as it can be sanded off from the old glue.

I went as follows. Extension of the sky is listed in the FAQ.

As soon as the sky has been expanded are still scrapes as well as the red glue in the sky.

First step, put on gloves.
Scratch the first layer with a disc scraper or spatula.
In the second step, attach a wire brush to the drill and remove the second layer. You have to repeat this step about 3-4 times until almost no red layer is visible anymore.
For the area where the fear handles are mounted are best use sandpaper.

If your roof board has slight damage, you can fix this well with fiberglass.

In the appendix you will find the pictures of what this looks like. When it is complete complete, of course, follow also pictures.

This should be a help I take no liability for the above-mentioned procedure.

Does anyone have experience whether the angsgrips and ambient barking can be related to alcantara and this also holds? Have in my A8 of the work such a thing you think this would work also with v8? Because no matter how the roof sky is covered a mega difference to the rest will otherwise exist unfortunately, this I want to prevent of course.
