Hello dear forum community,
I had a strange phenomenon yesterday when I wanted to move my V8 after my holiday to go shopping and so I asked for your assessment.
I assume that my ignition distributor will run with oil, which is expressed by the fact that if the vehicle is standing for 2-3 days and then started, oil will burn on the dumpster (right). Perhaps this is important for the future.
So I drove the V8 home 3 weeks ago and parked it in the driveway (slightly down with the muzzle to the front).
After 3 weeks the battery was very weak (strange - also a new problem since the battery is new, but that is another construction site). So I bridged the big guy and I wanted to start. The starter turned the crankshaft noticeably hard (as if a strong resistance) and I could only bring the V8 back to life after several attempts and a large smoke cloud.
After he then blushed 30 seconds he ran quite normal, no loss of performance, nothing.
I also have no big problems with the valve shaft seals, even if I drive long downhill during thrust operation, I can't see any burnt oil behind when I accelerate, so I think everything is within the frame.
Have any of you ever had such a thing? Where can this come from and is there a need for action or was it simply an unfavourable constellation?
Would be grateful for your tips.
Thank you very much
Ben

Niemand eine Idee?
Hi,
