Hey, guys.
I'd like to introduce myself first.
I am Marlon, 30 years old and come from the district of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony. So far, my Audi experience has been limited to 1.8 T and 3.0 V6 for the road.
Hobby-like, I have been on the road in the trial scene for many years with my own off-road car. So far always with Volvo 5-cylinder turbo, but now something with a V8.

Since I've always been an Audi fan, the choice was a 4.2 V8. First I got an ABH from a crosser at a good price. Without oil consumption
This runs with a simplified harness and a 3.6 ECU (immobilizer) and was only extended because a 40V is now working in the A4.
I am still very virgin in the area, but I have already been able to read a lot here and have already worked with the search function!
With the 3.6 ECU the engine ran very well in the past, can it still be that it does not have its full power with it? I have already heard different opinions on this.
Could you use the 3.6 control unit to optimize the fields or is it more useful to organize an ABH control unit and to build on it? What about the WFS, since I have neither keys nor reading coil?
Thank you so much!
Welcome
Marlon
