Hello, everybody.
with my S8, D2, FL, the brake wear indicator starts as soon as I hit the steering wheel to the right. Pulled off the plug connection to the brake lining on both sides and sprayed the plugs with contact spray, but without success.
I'm assuming there's a cable break somewhere in the line. I can't see anything by the cable. The stupid thing is that the cable passes from the brake wear indicator and the cable from the speed sensor ( ABS sensor ) into a cable. So I guess you have to change the speed generator. Since I don't even know on which side the break is I would have to buy both sides.
According to ETOS, it should be part No. 4D0 927 803 D approx. 170€ a piece.
Are there known fractures that I can control first?
If I only measure the line on the brake pads with a multimeter I then have to measure "transition"?
(If the surface is worn out, it would mean that the cable is cut in the brake surface and thus affects the luminaire in the AI ).
Thank you...
Wish you another good evening
Greetings Daniel
