First of all a little introduction since I'm new here!
My name is mike am 23 years old trained mechanic and I come from Linz in Upper Austria
Have been having an S8 d2 bj96 with manual transmission for over 2 months now and need a bit of help slowly and where is something like this more than in the A8 forum
So now to my problem:
with my S8 the big HP2 brake is installed at facelift from 99 on the 4 piston brembo system.
The HP2 is a bit too lean for me personally for a thick ship like the S8.
Now the question, does the conversion from the large HP2 to 4 piston brembo work without problems p&p or do I need any other wheel bearing housing saddle holder etc???
Furthermore, I want to ask if with the right small mirror the intake to screw or plug fit together with those of the big FL mirror??
And last but not least... My gearbox unfortunately has a broken synchronous ring (2 gears) when installing the gearbox or disassembly any special features to take care of or does it run as normal as something just happens?
