I stumbled upon a long-standing dream by chance to restore an Audi V8 4.2l hand switch in black and now have to be restored before the end of March 2016.
I'd like to ask you a few questions.

1. I am looking for a reasonable stainless steel AGA from KAT that is not too loud, perfectly fits and does not cost a fortune.
2. I'm looking for a reasonable not too hard coilover suspension. No extreme lowering, but just the old gammelige chassis out and something neat. I'm a big Bilstein fan, but doesn't there seem to be anything for the D11? (No level)
3. The tank is rusted inside unfortunately strak. The V8 had been in a semi-full tank for over 10 years...
How can this be best repaired?
4. Is the complete HA being developed, is a powder coating recommended here or does the TÜV cause problems?
5. I want to replace the gas lines completely. What would be the best option here? Have already had good experience with PVC lines.
6. What does the TÜV say about the conversions (FW and AGA) in case of an H-mark acceptance?
7.What else should be done? Vulnerabilities that should be taken into account?
Thank you in advance
Christopher
