Hi municipality,
Saturday I got the headlights, because after more than 15 years they looked quite taken away. The scattering discs became dull and covered with tiny stone strokes and the reflector inside visibly matt.
The whole action lasted just under 1.5 sts and was quite easy to accomplish.
In order to expand the SWR, only 5 screws have to be loosened,4 directly on the SWR and 1 from the bar below the SWR.
Pull off the 2 plugs on the SWR and turn out the socket with the light bulb of the flashing light.
2 screws are located at the top under black plastic caps and the other 2 behind the above.
The best way to do this is to use a screwdriver with a magnetic tip, because the screws like to fall down.If you have the screws out, it's a little fuzzy and take the SWR out to the front.
Remove the rubber seal outside and now the scatter disc can be removed. The scatter disc itself is attached to the SWR housing with 7 clamps - there are no screws. Now the scatter disc can be separated from the housing of the SWR.I cleaned the scatter disc from the inside with a soft microfiber cloth and glass cleaner. The reflector itself only breathed and wiped off with another MFT PRESENTY, because the chrome layer is very thin.I also cleaned the lens with the glass cleaner and an MFT.You can be astounded as dirty the cloths.
The result can definitely be seen and the light yield has also visibly improved.
In the attachments a few photos.

IPA - Isopropyl Alcohol.
