My V8's been spinning lately. Some time ago I suspected that the idle control valve was defective, but it is not the case.
He does the following:
No matter if the engine is warm or cold, it doesn't sporadicly start, you can org until the battery is empty. Even after several attempts no improvement, giving gas during the start process does nothing. ==References== 15-20 minutes waiting is all right again and he starts immediately again. And then everything works fine for weeks, then it comes back suddenly.
Do you have an idea? Could it be the gas pump relay? The pump was renewed not long ago.
It's totally uncomfortable, but the other day he jumped at a level crossing, and since then I haven't stopped turning off the engine.
