Hello!
When changing the timing belt of my A8, I noticed that the transmission oil lines running from the water cooler to the transmission are rusty. Actually, only the two connections to the water cooler are rusted. Bad tongues claim that if you repair it, you'd have to renew the water cooler, because the thing never gets close again. So new pipes and new water coolers.
Thank God it's not leaking yet, I've lubricated the connections with rope grease in the hope that it won't get any worse.
Has anyone done such a repair?
