a week ago, I got a 100 C4 2.6 EZ 93, front-wheeler with 5 gear circuit. Unfortunately, the speedometer didn't work. In order to spare me the fuzzyness of the AI expansion first, I proceeded after the exclusion procedure, so first exchanged the impulse generator ( had another lying ). It didn't seem to be that. Before the speedometer did nothing, now it reacts sometimes ( not always ) when I start the ignition, then the needle goes short to the stop and then again to zero.....
Can someone help me further what it might be?
Then one more question, I still have an intact AI lying on the C4. However, the speedometer already has the digital displays for km and daily kilometers that the built-in, the analog ones. Can I simply exchange the analogue for the digital one, or something needs to be changed.
For quick and competent answer, I would be grateful without tacho is nice.
