I would like to write down a small conclusion about the W12 !
After a year and approx.13Tkm, nothing had to be invested in the car. What I did new were still residual defects from the previous owner and a few problems with the gas system !
So nothing about the car itself.
The ignition coils were still taken over by Audi on Kulanz and I donated new candles to him immediately, since you can't easily reach the shafts !
Sometimes something is on the electronics, e.g. Sometimes the interior lighting stays on, but after a restart everything is in order again.
All in all, however, a car in need of getting used to,I have the feeling that when the S8 reacts more sensitively to the accelerator pedal, not much happens in the W12 on the first cm, but the thrust then starts and keeps on doing so.You have to tap the pedal very carefully, so that he does not put down a flash start every time.
I enjoy the silence in the car every time you swim only in traffic, neither feel anything from the automatic, nor do any noises penetrate. You can only hear the quiet buzzing of the ventilation and the rolling noises of the tires (255 to 20 inches).
Otherwise he spoils me with about 16.4L gas at 100Km and thus no longer, than my old V8 or the Plus !
An oil change and a service are on now, but this is probably not a problem, as long as you don't have to go to a workshop, because 10,5L longlife costs already a rod money
!The oil consumption was now about 2-3 run 13Tkm, so quite to pain.In addition, he is so wonderfully inconspicuous with a normal A8 radiator grill, there are already surprised faces when overtaking
similar to 10 years ago with the V8!If I had to decide for another car, it would certainly be another W12, but then a D3
!Greetings Thomas
