Hello, everybody.
My name is Volker Krings, come from Mönchengladbach, I am 42 years old.
Since 2008 I am the owner of a 4.2l A8 - BJ 1994
After I registered here years ago, but was more of a silent reader, I would have a question for you:
I checked out the car about three years ago and mothed it. Since I had lost sight of car making in recent years, I also failed to recharge the battery, so that it is deep discharge over time.
I want to use the car again and have therefore installed a new battery.
However, after the moth, the electrics only partially reawakened:
The car starts, engine runs round and the gearbox also switches clean and the warning flashing system and light horn work. That was it from the electrical side!
Hupe, windscreen wiper, turn signal, dipped light, window lifter, sunroof, mirror adjustment, ... are without function.
In a neighbouring workshop I had the ECUs read out for a moment:
Engine control unit is detected and read without error.
Further ECUs are not found during the diagnosis.
Locks in the box on the water box are fine, as well as in the footroom passenger side and in the trunk. However, some of the fuses do not have any tensions.
I also checked the plus distribution can. She's in perfect condition.
Is any of you deep enough in the subject of autoelectrics to give me tips on troubleshooting?
I don't know where to start.
I thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards from Mönchengladbach
Volker

Würde mal beaupten da war ein nager am werk, also ich würd mir die leitungen ansehen!
So,
Thema erledigt! Der Wagen läuft wieder!
Lediglich der Zündschalter musste erneuert werden.
Im alten Schalter hatte sich ein Schweißpunkt eines Kontaktes gelöst.
Grüße
Volker
