before a few weeks I noticed noises while driving or later when starting the car, it first sounded like a bearing damage to the steering wheel, or a pump that grinds what I then tested without success, ie noise was still.
because it wasn't clear to me, but I turned to several workshops, which all of them only said to me the sentence "oooh so a exot, so we don't know each other out", which of course made me very angry at audio, they told me first of all garnix except I could pay 300€ for a diagnosis, which I wasn't willing to pay for, for only the troubleshooting of the masters told me then personally drive until it is broken then you know what it was.
I then drove with the ever louder noise until before two weeks on the highway after approx. 60km the third course got firmly, without being able to switch up or down, then I put the car at a known who lived nearby and also did not return value. so I noticed that the torque converter might have slipped, because after cooling everything went back. since I never had such problems with an automatic so far I thought it was similar to a clutch damage. I'm also unfortunately not a mechatronics engineer but a chipper with all the procedures that exist, so not completely stupid but also no super pro in auto reperatur. I have already restored a lot of my own on my v8 like a brake system complete with front and rear spring suspension shafts and a few small clothes in the moto room. of course I have never screwed to an automatic transmission or never taken a v8 apart before, but wanted to do it with my favorite audio, of course not sooo fast. now he's logged out and I hate to drive my benz

my question now, can someone please help me, first roughly what it could be, if, how I can get to the converter, whether I can only pull the gear or immediately everything together. or if someone from the forum has a lot of time, of course for money, to help me screw? I couldn't take him anywhere or... if you had any ideas, please let me know.
since nobody really knew about this in Thuringia and I hate to let any "grove-I-can-the-finger" get there, that's what it was always my wish to be able to do something like this myself, because I'm really very capable of learning, I can turn, mill, grind everything in 5-axis simultaneously, so maybe I can help one or the other if that's what's going on.
I hate to slaughter my v8 now, because it was estimated at approx. 350€ at 210000km 5 weeks ago by the expert, and except for my problem everything worked perfectly besides that I don't miss it already after 2 weeks, and without a person who has already built something like that I just want to get on in the last way myself, I guess the drive shaft is broken by the torque converter (cotonation) because it still switches in the cold condition until after about 5 minutes the noise almost stops, and no longer switches.
I would be very happy if I can give a advice I also pay for what infos if necessary, because many of you don't like to pass on knowledge. or turning or milling what, I can make anything as long as the material is not gold
thank you very much, and consider that everyone starts small, and I can't know everything, and even if many have to smile, about my questions, I like my v8 very much, and will definitely get back to me for need, because there is no better car in my eyes
Thank you davis
