Once again, I took the risk and put myself in front of the car while Melanie started. The sound comes definitively from the gearbox and the smoke comes from the slits / holes where you can see the starter wreath.
I have no advice and I have a big question mark. According to Melanie, the car can be switched clean, unpacked cleanly.
Is there possibly a hidden bearing that is outside the transmission interior and is just starting to smoke and if so... where do you get this?
