Currently we have a test with a friend's car:
Is a V50, 3 years old, the 2.0 four-cylinder, I think also with Ford, the same engine..
Because of worn piston rings everything was apart. Now it's supposed to get back together and the control time setting is a headache:
There is only a totally filamentary statement to attach a plug-off pin through an opening which is difficult to access from the outside on the side of the engine.
You should place the KW on 45° in front of OT, turn pen in, KW on to stop, fix NW (no thing), then control chain on it, etc. Too bad about it. the position of the KW if you do so is not OT first cylinder, therefore the confusion.
Had one of you ever used such a procedure, and can say something about it would be very grateful, everything seems very strange to us..
