Hello everyone.
Please forgive me, I don't speak German and I'm with a translator.

I just bought a 1992 4.2l ABH V8 for my homemade Zonda replica. This engine replaces a Twin-Turbo V12 Jaguar engine. The gearbox is an Audi 012, the same as the Porsche Boxster and Audi 80/90.

I want the two turbos of the Audi V8 to fit, but the suction nozzle makes it hard to believe how to do this. Did anyone see that? Or any ideas on how to do it?

Welcome

Nick

Hey Nick,

Wir haben im MegaSquirt Forum schon miteinander geschrieben (Acki)

Schau mal hier: http://www.v8-racing.de/audi8042v8kompressor/fakten

Hello Nick,

Write in Englisch, your translator works not very well

The intake manifold you can exchange or modify - or what do you mean?

Thank you Martin..
I was saying If I pull out the mass airflow stuff from the ABH manifold, I could use that? I am using a megasquirt so only need manifold pressure and temperature.
The engine is mid mounted, and I need the inlet "part" of the plenum at the front of the engine, not at the gearbox side. Can the plenum be reversed, so the air in side is over cam belt covers etc..
Kind regards
Nick

Try to rotate it - I never did but the flanges are the same on both side, maybe only some bolts has to be changed.
But then I would favor the manifold with the switchable runner lengths (S6+, A8/S8) - then you have one throttle body outside the manifold and less trouble with that!

Dear All
For your information, I have put some parts for the Audi on ebay,
I took out the gearbox last night and it was rebuilt / replaced very recently and looks amost new - also with the ECU.

I have also listed the leather seats, they are fully electric in black leather and in great condition! There is a small tear in the seat of the driver chair about 1cm diameter. These look too good to dump!

The engine ECU is also listed, along with the power steering pump and air con pump, everything looks well maintained. I have listed them cheeply just to get rid of them under username nicktruman

Cheers

Next time, let the torque converter on the flex plate...
I'm sure WITH torque converter (refurbished) you maybe find faster a buyer.
But local pickup (from germany) isn't a choice - maybe you can arrange some "shipping"?!
