The C4 is well known for its lame midarmrest ("big MAL") which starts to hang in "half eight" direction glove compartment at some point!
There was probably a repair kit for this problem earlier, but it is no longer available. What did this repair kit contain?
I already had my seat completely apart, the recording in the backrest is not responsible for hanging, much too massive to bend something. The screw itself is also still brittle-grade, it can't be.
Who has disassembled the middle armrest for this reason? Who has photos of the interior? It seems to me that the grid mechanism is somehow "soft".
Would someone donate a MAL to help me find a solution to this problem??
Are the big MALs different from the V8 and the S6 C4?
Is there a "patent solution" to this problem?
With the A8 the middle armrest simply breaks off with some skill, somehow seems to me that middle armrests from Ingolstadt have a small stability problem
However, a solution has been found in the A8!
