Hello, everybody.

I need the help of you screwdriver experts again:

Since the exterior mirror of my driver's side of the Audi Cabriollet is the image for the mirror glass is broken, I would like to remove the housing and change the adjustment behind the glass by a specimen from a "slaughter mirror". I've already looked at the whole thing at the slaughter mirror and dissected it.

However, when disassembly of my mirror housing, I hit a "dull" turned screw.

I've had the Cab for 12 years and neither I nor a workshop were at the mirror at that time. So must have already botched a workshop before! Mellow

How do I get the screw loose? Any attempts with star bits or inbus bits have failed. None of the bits finds proper hold to loosen the screw.

My idea would be to stick a bit in the screw. A good friend works in adhesive distribution at 3M and there they have all the adhesives to fix everything permanently. I have already been surprised several times with the products!

Or are there other solutions? Thank you.

Greetings
