On the V8 (4.2er, ́93er Bj.) have a gearbox problem, for which I have a question.
First the prehistory: 3 days ago the v8 was standing overnight outside, got in early, set, switched from P to D - immediately the kpl. Select lever indicator in AI.
Hm, first no head made for it, so again engine off, ignition key pulled off, the whole thing tried again - with the same result.
Damn it, gears in the mechanical emergency run (read V8 forum after a few years and screw yourself you get a bit of something with
). I'm about to go. Driven 7km, then turn right, ignition off, then engine started again and see there, everything back to normal.Well, I thought, probably sporadic mistake, but in the afternoon the same case again... just like this morning (car was - whatever else - in a dry garage).
Today I drove to the workshop of my trust and had errors read out - 00293 Multifunction switch F125 Interruption/short circuit after mass and as 2nd error 00281 encoder for driving speed G68 signal too small.
I searched the forum and read a lot (MFS adjusts, shift adjusts etc.)
Now my (maybe a little stupid) question:
I have seen today when looking at the whole matter, that the steering gear starts to siff (that also still ...) and that the hydro oil has already sucked in the MFS. Could that have something to do with what the MFS is now starting to do with the spider because the oil somehow went in there? Or can nothing run in there because the part is sealed and the error has a different cause?
Anyway, two-- Work that is to be done again and in advance thanks for helpful answers.
Have a nice evening
