For a long time I have been driving over floor waves, cobblestones, potholes, etc. ==References== Sound coming from the two rear wheels.
Now, when I got to the bottom of the matter a little bit more precisely, I had to find out that the two outer ball joints on the upper crossbars of the two rear wheels could probably be responsible for this.
The rubber bearings in the ball joint eyes have play and are likely to have been knocked out.
In the appendix there is a picture of the ball joint! It's the part I marked with an arrow!
Then I went to Audi and wanted to get me two new ball heads (part number: 443505153B)......
And because I finally drive an Audi V8, the extremely friendly Audi employee wanted to have over 200 euros for two ball heads!
When I looked at him shocked, he just said, "They don't go golf or polo after all!"
Thanks for the condolences I then thought!
Is a lot of wood for two such small spare parts that might cost n'en fives in production!
Now my real question:
Can one possibly replace the rubber bearing in the "cog-league" and thus solve the thing cheaper?!
With "part search 24" there are various Gunnilager:
web page
Is there possibly a suitable camp with it?!?! If so, which one?!
Has any of you ever changed the bearings of the ball head or can anyone give me the decision?!
Would be nice if someone could help me out!
Many greetings
Henry
