HalliHello,
For some time now, I have been plagued by a torment that asks me to upgrade my braking system. Until recently I did not know how many possibilities there are now to improve the car in this regard. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
In this case, I will address my questions to the real experts among you and I hope I will be happy to receive numerous answers. The not addressed may not be gram, but in this case only experiences and no conjecture count.
Two years ago, I upgraded my vehicle to S6 spring legs and HP2. Actually, the brake is sufficient, but only actually. Because at high motorway speeds and severe braking maneuvers, one unfortunately notices that even the HP2 is not the wisdom of the last end. Now there are really many ways to improve the car.But what makes sense?? My first question would be the following: Is there also a two-column saddle for the D11 for the HA!!? Nowhere have I been able to find out about it yet.2. If I just upgrade in front and change nothing in the rear, isn't there an overbrake on the voder wheels? Is the difference between a 2piston saddle and 4piston saddle really so significant? What about 6th or even 8 piston calipers? That must be enormous. But stay in the back with a 1-piston saddle? Is this really good, for example, in wet weather?
There are three configurations I've come up with.
First possibility. Perforated discs at the front in 323x30 + perforated discs at the rear in 310x20 with adapter. The HP2 saddle at the front is maintained. By the way, I drive the "big" S6+ brake discs.
2nd possibility. Front 4 piston Brembo saddle with perforated 347x30 rear panes 310x20 while retaining the 17 inch wheels
3rd possibility. Upgrade to 18' inch wheels with 8piston saddle Brembo and 360x30 perforated discs, 330x20 holes and adapters.
What I don't like about possibility 2 and 3 is the maintenance of the 1 piston saddle at the back. This is not the XYZ brake calipers from Ronny E. It is used for configurations of the company. Ultimot here at my place in Berlin.
I'd be interested in what you think. In any case, it is a lot of money that is burned.I would like to say that I also want to upgrade for optical reasons because the "small brake bellies" at the back every time I see them, my eyes are angry.
I'm not a brainless racer, no I'm not racing either, no I'm rarely driving on the highway, yes, if I'm on the BAB then I'd like to see what the car is doing - if the traffic situation allows it and I'm on the road without my family. So that was a whole lot at once, please read it and please give me good advice and stop me from ruining myself financially...
PS.: Do you get the 18' inch wheels registered with 235/40 ET30 without any problems? According to the report, why does the roll-off range between 17.18 and 19 inches not change? I don't know.
Greetings Martin
