Come on!
After I have been reading here for a long time, I managed to register.
I drive a 94 S6 with aec motor and have now found that through the crankcase ventilation in the front a lot of oil is fed into the suction bridge. This is then burned quite unsightly and also massively lowers the octane value of the fuel. now I have seen that no oil separator is installed in the ventilation, has this already retrofitted in the front v8? I plan to test this time to take the vent from the system to take a longer hose into a vent box.
What happens purely theoretically if the connection in the suction bridge remains open? Does that change the engine?
Does it change what if it's locked?
Looking forward to your answers.
Many greetings from the Steini
Crankcase ventilation AEC
