Interconnection rods Audi A4 B5

Hey, guys. At my girlfriend's A4, the two pair of coupling rods are over. Hold 228 tkm now. I have a coupler bar lying around from MEYLE's home. So would only need to buy one new one. But now I don't know if the one on the right or on the left that I already have. How can you tell? There are two color points on it, one blue and one yellowish brown. And how are they built in, that thicker part on the screw top or bottom? I read in the net that the thicker should be down, at the car is on the right but the thicker part is up.........
