I have this problem, my fat guy is sick. He needs immo. to the 25 liters á 100Km and has hardly any power under 3500 rpm.
On the basis of this, I drove to the friendly Audi partner to have the fault memory read out.
Diagnosis:
Encoder for warm air temperature short circuit on Plus
Static
after I made clear the cables from the encoder to the control unit, it was my turn to measure them out, out of presumptuousness to a cable break or similar.
Now to the problem:
Pass-through test of the transmitter on the ECU connector:
white/blue on white/blue narrow 3 kOhm
black/brown on black/brown 0.4 ohms (normal)
now comes the weird
white/blue on pink(is on the controller plug of the pin lying directly next to white/blue) 2,8 kOhm
white/blue on black/brown 500 ohms
Black/brown on purple 2.8 kOhm
Then I soldered a "bridge".
Tweaked the respective cables to the connector and plug and soldered them with new cables (without laying them, simply through the window)
I'll do the same thing again. Now I'm kind of baffled

Any idea what the Pink Cable is in charge of? ==References== what can be the reason for the fact that, despite the new cables, Pink gets away with what???!!!!
I don't have a schematic for my V8.
Thank you in advance to all
Greetings Benni
