after my fat guy has been in the workshop for quite some time to make a general overhaul, I learned today that the gearbox should be extremely soft.
I wanted to ask you where the oil could come from.
I had hoped that it was the transmission tank seal oä, which is leaking, that would be easiest to do, but the workshop said that it should come somewhere from the converter and he prepared me for the worst.
either the converter is over or somewhere in the various rings (have zero idea of it) and the easiest would be to replace the complete gearbox.
Can I find out from the chassis number, what kind of gear do I need?
Is there any other possibility to counteract this dripping oil problem?
I'm really desperate, because I didn't expect this defective now at all
